Dakota Fanning was born on February 23, 1994, in Georgia. Dakota's acting career began when she was five. Dakota was choosen from thousands for a national tide commercial. Although she has appeared in many TV series, Dakota did not become well known until her appearance in "I am Sam" last year. Dakota is one of the world's best child actresses and is the youngest person to ever be nominated for a Screen Actors Gild Award. She also recieved an award from BAFTA for her work in I am Sam, but was too short to reach the microphone. Dakota is not only a famous actress, but is a good student in school and learned to read at the age of two!! Dakota has one younger sister named Elle. I can't believe how relaxed and grown up she sounds in all her interviews! I wish her a lot of luck in her future acting career!!
